3 Miles Early Morning Run

I actually got up at 4:50AM and ran my three miles for the day. It was "alright" I have felt better. My nose seems a little clogged so I am seemed a little out of breath, but I am THRILLED to have had that out of the way first thing in the morning....

Next up is 12 miles on Saturday Morning... Looking forward to it...

Mid Week "Long" Run - 6 miles

This evening I ran 6 miles. The actual running felt good, but I had eaten only an hour before so that didn't work to great for me. I felt slow and sluggish because of the food. I am one of those who needs a good three hours after eating before I run. This is why I really need to get up in the morning and run, but I havn't done that yet this training season.

Last night I ran 3 miles.

This Saturday is my BIG run. It will be 12 miles, I am going to need to get up early to do that...

Running Late

This week has been a good week of running.

I ran 3 miles on Monday...

Then 5 miles on Tuesday...

Tonight I will run another 3 miles... It is already 8:30 PM, but there just wasn't time to run earlier. I enjoy running, and it is alright at night as well, sometimes dark on the trails I run. Today was also my son's birthday so we had the birthday celebration stuff. Ate bad stuff. I run to stay fit too, but that won't work too great if I keep eating all this bad stuff. I'll admit it, I broke down and ate a whole role of costco oreos the other night, I felt so defeated by that. I feel like I work so hard (running) and then blow it on a role of oreos... dumb!

Any way hoping to run as soon as my wife gets home...

10 Miles Thursday Night

Tonight was a 10 mile run... sadly... it wasn't as easy as I hoped. I felt good, and the run was great, but I didn't judge my eating very well, so I didn't eat. It had been over 7 hours since that last time I ate before I began my run. I think I needed some more energy.

Eating afterword didn't really satisfy either.

The legs feel ok, we will see how they feel in the morning...

This is the finish of week 5 of Hal Higdon's Marathon Training Schedule: http://www.halhigdon.com/marathon/novices.html
